JOB DESCRIPTION
- Discuss with Team Leader / System Analyst to get understanding of the requirement.
- Involve in analyzing and designing programs under coordination and supervision by Team Leader / System Analyst.
- Prepare Program Specification document under coordination and supervisi- by Team Leader / System Analyst.
- Assess the program development effort and submit it to his / her Functional superior.
- Coding the program based on the approved Program Specification document and by using the standard Programming procedure.
- Prepare test plan and test script.
- Perform system test based on the test plan and test script to ensure that the program meets the requirement.
- Coordinate with internal QA (Quality Assurance) for SIT (System Integration Test).
- Prepare deployment plan including the fall back procedure.
- Continuosly maintain the application program to ensure the system comply with mandatory changes (application changes, regulation, update release) under coordination and supervision by team Leader / System Analyst.
- Analyze reported problems and identify the root cause, then provide solution and assess the effort to fix the problem.
QUALIFICATION
- Degree in Computer Science / Software engineering or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Software Engineering or equivalent.
- Understanding of Object Oriented is a must.
- Good Programming Skill in C++ or Java (J2EE will be an advantage).
- Knowledge in Database Programming (Oracle, MySQL, MS-SQL)
- Experience with Unix / Linux environment will be an advantage.
- Willing to learn new technologies and approaches.
- Fluent in English both oral and written.
